Rubber adhesive, better known as rubber cement, is a unique solution with sticky rubber in it, which is used as glue for different purposes. It is a high-quality adhesive with various effective properties and is perfect for gluing materials like rubber. It pastes two pieces of rubber effectively using a chemical process known as cohesion. One of the most significant advantages of using rubber glue is that you only need to apply it only on one surface of dame material except for paper. You can easily purchase rubber glue from any เคมีภัณฑ์ in your locality. Usually, rubber adhesives are produced from the natural extract of animals or plants, or it can also be obtained from a synthetic polymer.
Steps involved in the manufacturing of the rubber glue
Some of the rubber glues are natural, whereas some of them are synthetic, and the production process of both is different.
Use of raw material
Rubber glue contains a mixture of natural adhesives and synthetic glue with a combination of hexane. A significant portion of the rubber glue is made up of heptanes, and the rest portion if full of isopropyl alcohol. Ethanol can also be used instead of isopropyl alcohol. As a result, glue is formed in large rectangular slabs and shipped using different means of transport.
Mixing the rubber
The large blocks and slabs of rubber are cut down in pieces of different sizes and shapes. Then they are put into the mill, where they are run over by few massive rollers.
If the pieces of rubber are big, then they are put into a mixer with a sharp blade that spins at high speed. The mixture is mixed correctly, and gradually rubber is added to it according to the requirements.
Once the solvent is appropriately mixed, it is transferee to the other line where it is filled into the containers and packed properly.
